What is Cotec?
Cotec colours and design is a union of experienced painter and varnisher foremen who's aim it
is to revive old, high-class techniques that have been in use for centuries, to adapt them to
modern requirements and to enhance them. The members of this union constantly exchange their
knowledge and experiences and develop new techniques and combinations together. Only who graduated
from the Cotec academy, which teaches you a broad knowledge about materials, as well as use and
designing possibilities, is allowed to call himself a Cotec-designer.
Techniques
Cotec-surfaces are unique, especially matched to the room, the ambiance or your corporate identity.
We use different techniques that offer a wide range of possibilities: silky, soft, smooth or structured,
with a metal shine, faint or bright, plain coloured or marbled - everything is possible.
Basis for the surface are techniques which have been handed down in different cultures throughout the
centuries, and which have now been combined, adjusted and developed for modern needs. Therefore Cotec-walls
are based on mineral products: lime, marble flour, earth pigments and white cement always are the
main ingredients.
Field of application
Cotec surfaces are durable and easy to maintain. Design, surface and sealing depend on location and
use of the object. Therefore Cotec-surfaces can be used in the interior as well as the exterior, on walls,
ceilings, floors and even furniture.
