Cotec-Design
Painter foreman Stefan Folk's further training as Cotec-designer and his entering the Cotec-cooperation
gives the Maler Folk GmbH a wider range of services, followed by the training of his employees as
Cotec-technicians as well as further courses for special surfaces.
1999
The Company Moves to Pürgen´s Industrial Estate
In order to be able to expand the Maler Folk GmbH builds a new company building at the new industrial
estate of Pürgen. After having moved to the new location the change of generation is completed. From
now on Stefan Folk is CEO of the Maler Folk GmbH.
1998
Change to an GmbH
The company changes from an association without independent legal existence to a GmbH. Therefore the
company name changes to "Maler Folk GmbH".
1990
Alternation in Generation
As one of many trainees, Stefan Folk is trained to be a painter in his fathers company and by a church
muralist. He finishes his education as a painter and varnisher in 1990. From now on Helmut and Stefan
Folk manage the company together and initiate a gradual change of generation.
1988
Business Belonging to a Guild
The Maler Folk company becomes a business belonging to a guild and joins the "Maler- und Lackiererinnung
Oberland" ("painting and varnishing guild Oberland").
1968
Foundation of the Company
Helmut Folk, painting and varnishing foreman, father of Stefan Folk, now CEO, founds the Maler Folk
company in Pürgen's village center on May 2, 1968.
